triple neurotisation in a young boy

8 year old young boy from Jodhpur Rajasthan India got injured in a road traffic accident  in January 2015 . On 16/5/2015 I operated in Gurgaon , He had upper trunk injury and hand was normal.. We did three nerve transfer and pt initially gained elbow flexion followed by shoulder function. After two years he shows excellent shoulder and elbow function.
Three nerve transfer done are
Spinal accessory to supraspinatus
Somsack transfer (long head tricep fascicle to axillary nerve)
Oberlin transfer( Ulnar nerve fascicle to musculocutanous nerve)

Patient had a upper trunk C5,C6 injury which resulted in paralysed shoulder and elbow flexion. Elbow flexion is a extremely important function, it is supplied by musculocutaneous nerve which comes from lateral cord  which in turn comes from  anterior division upper trunk.  Axillary nerve supplies deltoid which main shoulder abductor. Supraspinatus muscle initiate shoulder abduction and very important rotator cuff muscle. Nerve to supraspinatus comes from upper trunk from erbs point.
