Shoulder sequlae operated

this is a post operative results of patient who suffered erbs palsy during child birth. As the plexus recovered  patient developed  shoulder contracture which resulted in inability to raise arm.
Subscapularis muscle contracture results in internal rotation , adducted arm . It results in inability to raise arm over shoulder , its results in bungle post deformity.


Surgery was done to release subscapularis muscle , pectoralis major muscle was partial release was done by cutting on muscle fascia.

LD and teres major were transferred to improve external rotation . A spica was placed with arm in full abduction .
